Who is Eligible for the DVA Gold Card?

To be eligible for a DVA Gold Card, individuals must meet specific criteria, including:

1. Australian Veterans:

This category covers veterans aged 70 or older with qualifying service histories, including participation in notable events like the British Commonwealth Occupation Force or the British Nuclear Test program in Australia and ex-prisoners of war.

2. Disability Compensation Recipients:

If you receive a Disability Compensation Payment at 100% of the general rate or higher, have specific disabilities, or receive a Service Pension, you may be eligible.

3. Service Pension Recipients:

Veterans receiving a Service Pension and meeting specific criteria, including income and asset limits, may qualify for the DVA Gold Card.

4. Impacted Veterans:

Veterans with permanent impairments from service-related injuries or conditions may also be eligible for the card. This includes reservists and cadets.

5. Commonwealth and Allied Veterans:
