Cutting Edge Technology Makes Today’s Dentistry a Pleasure

There are patients—nearly always older patients—who were forced to endure dental procedures that were far from pleasant when they were children.

Today, fortunately, in the vast majority of cases, painful dentistry is a troublesome memory that is light years from current reality.

The many advances made to dental technology in the past two decades alone have served to keep patients safer, saner, and far more comfortable than could have been hoped for during the 20 th century.

Digital X-rays

Digital X-raysAt KB Village Dental we use digital X-rays exclusively. This technology maximises image quality even as it minimises patients’ exposure to radiation.

One of the most advanced radiograph technologies available is an OPG (full mouth X-ray). From a standing position, your chin will rest on a comfortable shelf to keep your head perfectly still. The OPG machine will move around you in a semi-circular motion. The image it captures becomes immediately available and is stored in the software. The result: a highly-detailed, panoramic image of your teeth, gums and facial bones structure, all of which are invaluable when it comes to devising your treatment plan.

Digital X-rays are the gold standard in patient treatment and radiation protection.

Dental Laser

Dental LaserKB Village Dental is on the leading edge when it comes to more comfortable, safer dental procedures. Give us a call today to set up a time to discover why nervous patients are few and far between in the 21 st century!

The Sirolase was designed to cut and reshape soft tissue. Gum tissue can be modified to re-contour them, so invasive surgical techniques can often be eliminated. The results: faster procedures with much less painful healing times.
